Zaynab Kure Loses Senatorial Seat To Garb Mohammed of APC
The All Progressives Congress APC candidate General Garb Mohammed has won the Niger South senatorial District with 164,250 votes as against Zaynab Kure of PDP 64,107 votes.
The analysis based on local government areas are; . Bida APC 39,412 and PDP 8,249 Edati – APC 9,747 and PDP 8,191 Gbako- APC 14,980 and PDP 7,340 katcha APC 14,501 and PDP 4,866 Mokwa APC 25,666 and PDP 8,359 Lavun- APC 21,254 and PDP 11,357.Lapai- APC 23,188 and PDP – 8,263 Agaie – APC 15,408 and PDP- 7,482.
The declaration of APC as the winner in Niger South brought the total number of the .APC Senators so far declared to two as the result of Niger North is being awaited.
