18 inch Steel Bar Impaled in the Head of a Worker After Falling Off a Building Site
Liu Fenghe was talking to a colleague on the ground when he suddenly dropped to the floor with the rod sticking from his bonce.
Work friend Zhang said: “It happened too quickly. Before I realised anything, he was already in a pool of blood.” It is thought the metal bar fell from the 25th floor of the building.

It had such force it penetrated just under 8in into his head.
Doctors performed emergency surgery in Shanghe County, Shandong Province, China. The hospital said Liu is now out of danger.
