Managing Director of NIWA, Hajiya Inna Ciroma Resigns
National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) Managing Director, Hajiya Inna Maryam Ciroma has resigned her appointment from the Authority.
The NIWA Image-maker, General Manager (Corporate Affairs) Mr Tayo Fadile confirmed that the resignation would be effective from Thursday 28th of May, 2015.
In her letter of resignation addressed to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, she thanked President Goodluck Jonathan, for giving her the opportunity to serve the Country in this capacity.
A former Minister of Women Affairs and National Woman Leader of the PDP, Hajiya Inna Maryam Ciroma who resumed duty as Managing Director of NIWA on Monday 13th May, 2013, threw in her resignation, pointing out that it is honourable and the right thing to do, within the circumstances, thanking the NIWA Management and Staff for their cooperation throughout her tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the Authority.
