First Porsche Ever Built Now on Display in Germany [Video]
The first Porsche ever built is on display after languishing in obscurity in a barn for more than 110 years.
The P-1 was moved to an Austrian barn in 1902. After being recently uncovered, it's now on display at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. Watch video below:
The P1 — for “Porsche No. One” built by a 22-year-old Ferdinand Porsche was among the first vehicles registered in Austria when it rolled onto the streets of Vienna on June 26, 1898. Like most “cars” of the era, it was little more than a wagon with a steering wheel and something other than a horse propelling it
