2013 Copa Lagos: Nigeria thrash Germany 7-1
Nigeria's Super Sand Eagles, who have won the first two editions of the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer tournament on Friday defeated former European Beach League champions, Germany 7-1.
With three goals from Abu Azeez, one each from Ogbona Okemmiri, captain Olawale Isiaka, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu and Ogbonna Emeka, the Super Sand Eagles look on track to defend their title.
This will be the first time the Germany will take part in the Copa Lagos.
Meanwhile, Senegal who had been crowned champions of Africa three times were earlier in the afternoon defeated in the opening march by Lebanon 5-4.
Lebanon are making their second consecutive appearance at the Copa Lagos which they almost won last year in the final.
