7 Feared Dead in Ibadan as Flood Continues
Seven people were feared dead on Sunday night following a midnight rainfall that wreaked havoc on some areas of the ancient city of Ibadan.
Mostly affected in the havoc was Oluyole Local Government Area of the city.
Reports of overflown bridges deceived some commercial motorcyclists and keke Marwa operators who fell into some of the roads which had been cut off in Arapaja, Akala new extension Lao hospital area.
Sources stated that a man, who attempted to cross the road fell into the gutter and was washed away by the rain.
Police confirmed the death of four people, but the state fire service stated that it was yet to be informed of any casualty.
