Members of Niger State Tricycle Riders Association Advised to Comply with Agreement on Loan Repayment

Members of the Niger State Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), which metamorphose into Tricycles Riders Association as a result of government’s ban on Commercial Motorcyclists, have been advised to comply with the terms and agreement of loan repayment reached between the association and the state government.

Speaking to Journalists in Minna, the Chairman of the Association in the state, Alhaji Musa Isyaku said when members comply with the agreement; it would pave way for others to benefit from the gesture.

The Chairman stated that the agreement reached was on monthly payment but lamented that some members refused to remit their money to the appropriate authority adding that very soon the committee set up by the Ministry of Transport would swing into action to recover such funds and possibly impound the vehicles.

He warned members against selling the tricycles adding that anyone caught would be prosecuted.

Alhaji Musa Isyaku commended the State Governor, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu for the kind gesture and called on him to extend such gesture to the local government areas of the state.
