Over 1 million People in Niger State Endorse Goodluck Jonathan -TAN
Ahead of Saturday’s Zonal Rally by the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), in Minna, Niger State over one million people have put down their signatures in the state endorsing President Goodluck Jonathan for the 2015 presidential election.
According to Nigerian Tribune, the Media Assistant to the Secretary to Niger State Government (SSG), Saidu Ndako Idris Kpaki, in a press statement released on Thursday said the collation of signatures which started on Monday ,saw over one million people across the 25 local government areas in the state, endorsing Jonathan, for second team.
"Contrary to report in a national daily that collection of signatures for President Jonathan is yet to commence in the state, I want to say that as at this moment ,we have collected over one million signatures in all our designated centres across the state and we are expecting the number to double before the weekend," Kpaki said in the press release.
