Niger, 20 other States Get New CPs
The acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has released the posting of Commissioners of Police (CPs) to head police commands in 21 states.
This followed the recommendation to and subsequent approval of the commissioners by the Police Service Commission.
The CPs and their commands are Olusola Emmanuel Amore, Niger State; Usman Yakubu, Nasarawa State; Isaac Gabriel Achong, Akwa Ibom State; Paul Okafor, Kogi State; Hyacinth M Dagala, Benue State; Idris Faruk Umar, Jigawa State and Salihu Garba, Kwara State.
Others are A.K Shodipo, Oyo State: Abubakar Marafa, Osun State; Clement O. Adoda, Borno State; Kayode C. Aderanti, Lagos State; Usman A. Baba, Delta State; Dan Bature, Rivers State; Karama Hosea Hassan, Anambra State and Titilayo M Busari, Cross River.
Also in the list are Valestine U. Ntomchukwu, Bayelsa State; Frederick T. Lakanu, Ekiti State; Ademola Omole, Taraba State; Adedoh Gabriel Adaji, Adamawa State; Ishaku Barau, Kebbi State and Wilson A. Inalegwu, FCT.
