Firefighters Rescue 5-year-Old Stuck in Gap Between Two Buildings in China [Video]
The video shows a 5-year-old boy screaming as Chinese firefighters try desperately to reach him after he got stuck between two brick buildings.
The gap of nearly 10 centimeters was barely wide enough for the five-year-old’s head after he fell in the gap while playing at his home in Guizhou Province’s Bijie City on Sunday, according to CCTV-America.
The boy’s family tried to reach him, but he fell nearly 7 meters between the two buildings. They called a local fire department, which had better luck.
The video shows one of the firefighters reaching into a hole they made next to the kid by removing bricks of a neighboring public bathroom. They supported the weakened wall with bricks and steel pipes, NY Dailies reported.
The firefighters were able to free the entrapped child after a half hour later and returned him to one of his relatives who hugged him tightly. Watch the terrifying ordeal below:
