11-year-old Boy Eaten by Crocodile in Papua New Guinea
Melas Mero, 11 years old, was attacked by the a 13-foot-long crocodile during a family day out at the Siloura River, in Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea last Thursday.
The crocodile dragged the youngster off and ripped his body apart before eating his remains.
Cops tracked down the predator and, after killing it, found the pre-teen's hands, legs and hip bone inside.
Mero's head was also discovered nearby.
"The crocodile swept the boy with its tail and then attacked the defenseless child," Lincoln Gerari, police commander, told The National newspaper, according to NY Daily News.
