Fashion Designer L'Wren Scott Commits Suicide

L'Wren Scott, longtime girlfriend of musician Mick Jagger and fashion designer, was found dead in her New York City apartment Monday of an apparent suicide, according to multiple reports.

Scott's body was discovered by her assistant at 4:02 p.m. WAT. She was hanging from a scarf attached to a doorknob, the AP reported. The wire service said no suicide note was found, and that there was no sign of foul play. A medical examiner has yet to confirm the cause of death.

The 49 year old, one time model dated Jagger, frontman of the iconic rock band Rolling Stones, since 2001. She was was born and raised in Utah.
