STAR WARS Director 'George Lucas' Gets Married for the Second Time
The 69-year-old wed Mellody Hobson,44, who he has been involved with for six years, in a glam Chicago ceremony.
Celebrity pals were on hand to offer their congratulations to the happy pair.Fellow film-maker Ron Howard wrote on Twitter: "George Lucas Melody (sic) Hobson wedding was joy to behold Bill Moyers service was beautiful, nothing short of profound. Congrats Mr&Mrs Lucas."
Samuel L Jackson, who plays Jedi master Mace Windu in the iconic movies, also tweeted his support, excitedly saying: "Let's give a Galactic shout out to MasterGeorge Lucas & his Bride Melodie (sic) on This their WEDDING DAY!! Congrats!!!!!!"
George and businesswoman Mellody got engaged in January.It's his second marriage - he divorced first wife, film editor Marcia Lou Griffin, in 1983.
