Miley Cyrus speaks out in Favour of Marijuana

Miley Cyrus has spoken out in favour of the drug in an interview with Rolling Stone.

The 20-year-old, who also joked that she smoked too much weed after receiving a Bob Marley cake for her 19th birthday, told the magazine she feels that weed is less harmful than alcohol.

Cyrus - who also insisted she wears her engagement ring from Liam Hemsworth 'every single day' - said 'alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana.'

After being asked if she's a stoner, she apparently laughed and replied: 'You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes.'

'I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves.'

'I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana - people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care,' she continued.

'I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed.'
'As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things,' she added.

'And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be.'

Of her on and off again engagement with Hemsworth, she said:  'I wear a ring every single day. I don't talk about my personal life, so that's enough of an answer.'
