"Give us 8 distinctions, and we'll take you abroad" - Gov. Bello
The governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has pledged that the state government will give scholarship to study abroad, any Nigerlite who earns eight distinctions and above.
"Give us eight distinctions and we'll underwrite your education abroad, in sha Allah," the Governor said.
He also said that the emphasis will be given more to science students. "Even those science students who performed well but are short of the eight distinctions, we'll support them. But their own sponsorship will be in Nigeria," he added.
