50 Cent Bets $1.6m on Mayweather Beating Pacquiao

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather have appeared to put whatever issues they had behind them … at least enough for 50 Cent to bet a lot of money on Mayweather in his upcoming fight against Manny Pacquiao.

In an appearance on Power 105.1’s "The Breakfast Club," the rapper said he was confident Mayweather was focused and would win the fight, and that he was planning on betting $1.6 million on Mayweather.

50 Cent who goes by the real name Curtis Jackson told The Breakfast Club: "I got the champ,' The champ gonna smoke him. It's gonna look like [the fight] was pumped up for no reason."

The relationship between the rapper and the boxer turned soar after 50 Cent told Mayweather he would donate $750,000 to charity if the boxer managed to read a page of a Harry Potter book.

Mayweather responded by saying on twitter "'I'd be perfect at reading if it was how I had to feed my family." He also tweeted a picture of his two pay cheques of $70m to prove his wealth. The pair have since had a frosty relationship.

When asked about the feud 50 Cent said he and Mayweather, had talked it out.

"I can get mad at him. We can both get angry when we’re not speaking to each other," he said. "When we’re not communicating with each other, it gets crazy."
