Drake Disses Tyga Over Kylie Jenner Relationship

In the long-standing tradition of rappers dissing and battling each other through songs, some have used lyrics to respond to criticism from naysayers, while others have dropped not-so-subtle references to people they don't really like.

Joining this list is Toronto artist Drake as he disses Tyga with his new song.

Drake dropped his new album If You're Reading This It's Too Late on Friday Feb. 13, which features 17 new songs. One song in particular, "6PM in New York," gives a special (and evident) shoutout to Tyga regarding his relationship with Kylie Jenner.

Drake's new song goes: "I heard the lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe / Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside / Oh you tried, it's so childish calling my name on the world stage / You need to act your age and not your girl's age."

Although coming from the same record label Young Money, the two rappers may cause you to wonder what could have possibly sparked this feud between the artists. Tyga's comment in his interview with Vibe a few months ago might give us some clue.

"I don't like Drake as a person. He's just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I'm saying? I think his music is good, but we're all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is," Tyga said.

Drake, for his part, got creative in channeling his anger and annoyance by making a new album and collaborating with artists like Lil Wayne and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

In response, though, to the blatant bashing by Drake, Tyga wrote in a now deleted Twitter post: "@Drake u still a b**ch. All that sneak dissing is weak. Just pull up. I know where u live and u know my address.. U been ducking the fade from Brown."
