No Automatic Ticket For Shem Zagbayi Come 2015
Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Niger State chapter Alhaji Abdulrahaman Enagi has said that there will be no automatic ticket for Dr Shem Zagbayi Nuhu in 2015.
Despite winning the just concluded bye-elections for Niger East senatorial zone, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Enagi said Zagbayi will have to go through the Party's primaries if any other party member shows interest in the position
In answer to a question if Zagbayi would continue through the next dispensation, Abdulrahman Enagi said, "There will be no automatic ticket for Shem Zagbayi Nuhu if more people come out in PDP. We will go for primaries".
Alhaji Enagi who made this statement when he addressed a news conference on the just concluded senatorial bye-election in Minna, was however quick to add that the party would not stop Zagbayi for the next senatorial dispensation if he emerges consensus candidate and if nobody within PDP challenged him (Zagbayi) as the party’s consensus.
