The governor has sacked about 178 coordinators and Political Mobilisation Officers (PMO’s), directing the Secretary to the State Government, Saidu Idris Ndako Kpaki, to stop the payment of their salaries and allowances henceforth, urging those who are still interested among them to re-apply.

It will be recalled that Governor Aliyu after a meeting with his party loyalists gave a matching order to his aides to deliver for PDP in their areas or consider themselves automatically sacked.

Reports by the Nigerian Tribune revealed that the governor expressed his dissatisfaction over the failure of the party in most polling units despite the presence of his special assistants all over the communities.
