Niger State's Governor Aliyu Counsels Politicians, Traditional Rulers

Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu of Niger State has counselled politicians not only in the state but across the country to do everything possible to ensure that they put to shame enemies of Nigeria who are predicting doom for the country by recording one of the most peaceful transition period as well as most acceptable and credible general elections in the annals of the nation.

He gave the advice at New Busa, in Borgu Local Government Area of the state on Saturday shortly after the wedding Fatia of Princess Anifa Haliru Dantoro, one of the daughters of the Emir of Borgu,  His Royal Highness Alhaji Halliru Dantoro and a District Head, Mallam Hassan Serkin.

In attendance at the well attended ceremony held at Muhammadu Sani Memorial Central  Mosque, Borgu, were notable Nigerians led by a former Head of State and a presidential hopeful of All Progressives Congress (APC) General Muhammadu Buhari; a former Military Administrator of the old Kano State, Col. Sani Bello (rtd) and Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (rtd), a former Chief Security Officer to a former Head of State. The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, was also in attendance.
