Auto Accident in Niger State Kills 2, Injures 12
Two people have been confirmed dead and 12 others injured in an auto crash involving two commercial vehicles on Minna- Suleja highways on Saturday.
National Emergency Management Agency's (NEMA) Assistant Zonal Coordinator of Niger and Kwara states, Mr Musa Abdulrazaq, confirmed the incident according to Nigerian Tribune on Monday at the state office of the agency at NITECO road, Tunga Low cost, Minna.
Abdulrazaq stated that the accident occurred following a head on collision between the two commercial vehicles: a Sharon Space Bus marked MKR 204XA and an Opel Vectra marked FP219 ABJ, adding that the latter loaded at Suleja and headed towards Minna, while the former might have loaded from Kaduna and headed towards Minna when the accident occured.
He noted that the two passengers that died were relations and were on their way to Minna to attend a wedding ceremony.
