NAF Helicopter Crash: 2 Survive as Missing Crew Member is Found Alive
The engineer crew member of the crashed Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter earlier declared missing has been found alive according to reports published on the official website of Nigerian Defence.
The crew member who was declared missing when his body could not be located in the area of the crash resurfaced at the military Headquarters in Maiduguri today, having trekked through the bushes after the crash.
It is now officially confirmed that Flight Lieutenant NM Halilu, Co-Pilot and Warrant Officer Augustine Nwanonenyi, the aircraft technician survived the crash while Flight Lieutenant AJ Nwakile was the only one lost in the crash.
The family of the deceased officer has been informed while the two survivors are in stable condition and receiving medical attention.
Meanwhile, search and rescue operation on the incident has been concluded, while investigation into the crash continues.

Thank God for their Lives. May the deceased 'True Nigerian Hero' rest in perfect peace. Too many young officers, so sad. Is this what Nigeria has turned to?? Bombs everywhere, chaos everywhere. We need to save our country
