Super Eagles Skip Training Over Unpaid World Cup Bonuses
The Super Eagles skipped training on Thursday, after a meeting to deliberate on their World Cup appearance bonuses, ended in a deadlock.
Nigeria was scheduled to train in Campinas at 6pm on Thursday, but the squad failed to board the bus.
The Cable reports that players vowed to get their bonus paid upfront before they play France on Monday.
A NFF official told KickOffNigeria that funds were only released for the group stages and NFF General Secretary Musa Amadu is the process of getting more money for the next round.
