Man Caught Planting Fetish-Charm at Emir’s Palace in Lafiagi

A man from Eko village close to Lafiagi was arrested last week after he was caught planting some fetish charms at the Emir’s Palace in Lafiagi, Kwara State.

The identity of the man is still not being made fully clear to the general public for security reasons but he is said to be from the village of Eko across the River Niger from Niger State. Though it is alleged that those who hired and sponsored him to plant fetishes in the Emir of Lafiagi’s Palace are people from Lafiagi.

The man who has been in the custody of security people at an undisclosed location is still said to have not disclose the name of those who sent him to do such a dastardly act.

The Emir of Lafiagi was in India on a medical trip when the incident occurred but is back now and in good health according to NCRC's reporters.

A full investigation by the police and other security agencies is expected to unravel the actions and the motive of the man
