Sokoto APC Campaign Office Set Ablaze by Thugs
Unidentified thugs set ablaze the zonal APC campaign office of Senator Gwanda Gobir, within Sokoto metropolis at the early hours of yesterday.
The party office of the senator representing Sokoto East, was located along the Gandu areas within the Sokoto North local government.
Briefing newsmen, the senator through his Special Adviser on media, Al-Mustapha Hamza said the office was burnt at about 3-4am, also advised Nigerians to play politics according to the rule of the game with maturity and love for one another, even as he expressed fears over how the polity is been heated ahead of 2015.
Senator Gobir decried that the burning down of party structures was simply a bad omen for the nation come 2015.
According to Leadership's report, the act could be reprisal from youths within the Kara areas considering the fact that, a make shift office belonging to the PDP was equally burnt within the area two days before the incident.
