Nigeria: Chairman Leadership Newspaper 'Nda-Isaiah' To Run For President in 2015

The Chairman of Leadership Newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah has declared his interest to run for the president of Nigeria in 2015 election under the platform of the APC.

Nda made this declaration after his registration yesterday at Gofar –Dogara Mainadi in Makera ward of Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State, affirming that he joined politics to chart a new course for the country.

Sam Nda-Isaiah, on Saturday said he remains the only All Progressives Congress candidate who has indicated interest to run for Nigeria's number one seat.

According to Leadership Newspaper, Nda-Isaiah, who received issued card Number 0100402 as the second person to be registered in the unit, was received by a large number of members of the APC and was accompanied by the Chairman of the Niger State APC Registration Committee, Zakeri Angulu; the Secretary of the committee, Sabo Mohammed; as well as the Director General of his campaign organisation, SAM4NIGERIA, Mallam Bala Garba,

He was registered at the unit by the registration officers, Shehu Musa Danjuma and Mustapha Hamisu, with the APC members chanting the party’s slogan.

Asked by journalists why he decided to go into politics, Nda-Isaiah said: “What made me come into Nigeria politics is because Nigeria needs direction. We cannot continue on this path.

“There is the need for a new direction.” he added

Nda-Isaiah later visited the party secretariat located off Zarumai Road, Minna with other party members where he was received by the representative of the party executives, Attairu Musa Abubakar.
