Illegal Baby Factory Operators Allegedly Relocate To Niger State

Police in Niger State have commenced investigation into the possibility of relocation of illegal baby factory operators following the arrest of a 17- year-old girl, Rahab Stella Abuchalem by the Mokwa Division of the state  police command after she was accused of being in possession of a new-born baby..


The suspect was said to have confessed that one of her sisters identified as Stella (other names withheld) from  Imo State, allegedly procured a pregnant 17-year old girl for her.

The suspect revealed that the  17- year old pregnant girl, whose name was given as Favour  Anayo, was a student of Okota Secondary School, Lagos State and was kept in Mokwa until she gave birth to the baby on Thursday December 26 2013.

According to Nigerian Tribune, investigation revealed that illegal operators might have relocated to Niger State after they were flushed out of Imo State.
