"Don’t mind Aliyu, he isn’t far from APC, very soon he will join" - Senator Ibrahim Musa
Senator Ibrahim Musa who represents Niger North Senatorial District in an interview with The Sun expressed his confidence in his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the party will win the 2015 general elections.
In the interview the Senator who is a member of the Senate Committee on Petroleum, (Downstream) was asked about Governor Babangida Aliyu's decision not to join the five Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), governors in a merger deal with APC.
"Don’t mind Aliyu, he isn’t far from APC. We know he is facing some challenges, but very soon the problem will be resolved. Very soon he will join." Senator Ibrahim said
When asked about APC's strength in Niger State, he said "We are the party to beat, the governor is even trying to join us. We are on ground, very, very strong."
