Americanah By Chimamanda Named Top Book of 2013
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has named celebrated Nigerian author Chimamanda Adichie's 'Americanah' the number one best book of 2013.
Americanah, a star-crossed love story that spans three continents, she proves she is also supremely funny. Her experience of being a black African versus an African-American at an American university was the basis of "Americanah.
The Good Nurse by Charles Graeber and The Book of My Lives by Aleksandar Hemon came in second and third respectively.

The book was also listed as one of the top ten books of 2013 by New York Times.
