Arsene Wenger Says Jack Wilshere's Opening Goal Was One of the Best he's Seen [Video]

Arsene Wenger saluted a brilliant Jack Wilshere goal as Arsenal went two points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a 4-1 win over Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium yesterday

England midfielder Wilshere set Arsenal on their way when he finished off a passing carousel with his second of the season.

He started the move and seven quickfire passes later he finished it after contributions from Kieran Gibbs, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla. Watch the beautiful goal under:

Wenger purred: “The combination of speed, the technical quality, speedy thinking and quick reactions – it was nearly everything you want to have.”

Arsenal have not been beaten since the opening day of the season humiliation by Aston Villa.

Wenger said: “We’ve a good attitude and are hungry. We won 4-1 but Norwich played well. We had a difficult period between minutes 30 to 60 when we struggled to keep our game together.

After Mesut Ozil scored the second on the break, Norwich responded with a strike by Jonny Howson before Aaron Ramsey’s superb individual effort and his assist for Ozil’s second put the game
well out of the visitors’ reach.
