A 28-year-old Toronto woman was caught smuggling cocaine in a prosthetic belly by Colombian police, while trying to board a flight at Bogota airport which has sparked outrage.
Police identified Tabitha Leah Ritchie after seizing her while in possesion of two kilograms of cocaine.
The Canadian bound woman had the cocaine hidden in a fake latex belly and was stopped when officials noticed that it was unusually cold and hard, according to The Huffington Post.
The Standard Digital reports Colombian officials are holding up to 874 foreigners, most of whom are apprehended for drug related charges.
