James Bond’s underwater Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me made a splash at RM Auctions London Sale on Sunday
For the first time in its history, the Lotus Esprit Submarine Car from the James Bond 007 film The Spy Who Loved Me has gone up for auction, selling for a whopping £550,000 (approx. $863,830/€650,995) at the RM Auctions London Sale at the St James Concours of Elegance, London, on Sunday September 9.
The final price was a little under its £1million guide, but still a hefty amount for one of cinema's most iconic vehicles.
