Commissioner for Tertiary Education Say Niger State is Ready to Host NICEGA

Commissioner for Tertiary Education Describes Niger State as Peaceful, Hospitable and Ready to Host The Nigerian Colleges of Education Games NICEGA.

Niger State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mohammed Bashir Nuhu has adjudged the state to be the most peaceful in the country where national sporting competitions could be hosted without any fear insecurity.

Speaking when the committee on the inspection of facilities of the Nigerian Colleges of Education Games (NICEGA) paid him a courtesy call in his office, Dr. Mohammed Bashir Nuhu said the state was the home of hospitality and assured the committee that NICEGA would be peaceful.

The Commissioner noted that the state always wants to set the pace in all human endeavors and, therefore thanked them for the visit.

He, however, described sports as a unifying factor where people from different states and background come together to compete and reminded the committee that the state had abolished the issue of non-indigineship as it accommodates everybody irrespective of tribal or religious background.
